Guide on how to access RedOffice Log Files on client machine
If there is a problem which has presented the need to generate the client log, the user should carry out the actions that cause the error then go to the following RedOffice UI menu to export log to text file:If not able to log into RedOffice, an alternative method to generate the client log is under the office application (Outlook, Excel, Word) 'ECM' toolbar menu:
If you go to Outlook for example and click on the ECM menu on the top tool bar, then:
- Click on the Help 'down-arrow'
- Click on the 'About RedOffice version information'
- In the RedOffice pop-up window that appears, click the 'Show log' link
Save the log text file generated to your desktop
