RedOffice Overview
RedOffice is a desktop application and Microsoft Office suite add-in that interacts with TechnologyOne Enterprise Content Management (ECM), an electronic document and records management solution from TechnologyOne.
The add-in has several functions to simplify and streamline document creation and management, such as:
- The ability to save documents and emails into ECM without having to leave the Microsoft Application.
- Leverage known email addresses from ECM to automatically create links.
- Utilise ECM Quick Add Profiles to simplify the registration process.
- The ability to edit documents from ECM by checking the document in and out from the Microsoft Office application being worked from e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- The ability to insert an ECM merge fields into a document e.g. Document Set ID. The field(s) will update with the appropriate value from ECM when the document is saved into ECM.
- RedOffice removes any local copy of the document when checking in and out and can be configured to remove on registration of new documents.
