Resolve - Default Texts

How to set up Default texts on a Meeting Type - Text that can be automatically added to Agenda fields on agenda creation, to prompt or guide Report Authors.

Prerequisites:
You will typically be a Site or Meeting Administrator, with access to the Resolve Admin portal (https://CLIENTNAME.resolve.red/admin/) and appropriate permissions to make meeting configuration changes in the Site Settings area of Resolve.

Steps

  • In Resolve, navigate to Site Settings > Meeting Types

  • For the required Meeting Type, click the Default Texts icon to open the related editing window.

  • Here, use the Custom Text Fields to fill out a Default text like below:

Notes:

  • Fields labelled "Custom Text #" will relate to fields available in the Agenda Details tab
  • Fields labelled "Item Custom Text #" relate to fields available to the Item Other Details tab
  • Fields labelled "Item Description" and "Alternative Actions" relate to the Item Details tab main fields typically used for report summary and recommendation respectively.
  • The field labelled "Fiscal Impact Summary" relates to the Fiscal financial tab if in use.

Once you have added all the Default Texts required to your Meeting Type, when you create a new Agenda or Item, the "Default Text" will populate in the related fields of the Agenda or Item Report respectively.

Tips:

  • The Custom Text Agenda and Item fields can be enabled/disabled to be visible and named as required under Meeting Type > Custom Data option
  • The Agenda Details tab fields can be named as required under Meeting Type > Labels option
  • The Fiscal tab field names can be updated if in use under Meeting Type > Fiscal Data option
