# Resolve - How to manually create an item Report

## Guide to manually create an item report

If your Item does not have an item report, you can create it manually following the below steps. 

On the Item Files Tab, select Create Report

Give it a name and select the appropriate template

To control the visibility of the report at publishing, you will need to select the appropriate Confidentiality of the item report. This controls if it will be visible to the Councillors and public.

Once you have hit the update button, you will be able to see and preview the item report.   
You will also see if the item report will be visible to the public
