The following article details best practice for Meeting Administrators creating Confidential Minutes
Prerequisites:
- The Confidential Minutes feature needs to be enabled by the Redman Solutions Helpdesk.
- You will typically be a Meeting Administrator with access to the Resolve Admin portal (https://CLIENTNAME.civicclerk.com.au/admin/) and appropriate permissions to view the Minutes area.
During the meeting, record minutes following your normal process.
Post meeting, using Confidentiality options, you can then choose which Motions and Minute content will be visible on the public website, as follows.
MOTIONS
Check the Confidential tick box on any Motions you don't want displayed on the public website.
COMMENTS & DISCUSSION (Minutes Text)
To use the Confidential option, click the [PUBLIC] button top-right of the Comments & Discussion field.
This button will then become a Public/Confidential switcher and copy your existing minute text to the Confidential content field. You can then toggle between the Public and Confidential fields to view and add or edit content as required.

MINUTES PREVIEW
Use this button to give a near instant view of your Minutes document final look, in a separate browser window. If left open, you can see updates as you make them.
In the preview window, you can also switch between the Public and Confidential versions of the Minutes document.
BUILDING MINUTES DOCUMENT FILE
Back in the Agenda details screen Files tab, when building your Minutes document, you can select to build the Public or Confidential version.
When creating the Confidential version, where Confidential Minutes exist for an Item, the confidential text will be applied, for that Item. All other Items that don't have confidential will get the Public minute text.
