Steps to create an Event in Resolve for video streaming test purposes, to validate hardware, related services and Resolve is working as expected prior to a real streamed event.
Prerequisite: The correct permissions are needed to access the Resolve Admin 'Events' view. Contact your admin team for assistance if required.1. Create Resolve test meeting 'Event'

Navigate to Resolve Admin portal and login https://CLIENTNAME.civicclerk.com.au/Admin/
- From the Home screen: (1) Click the green [+] top right, then in the menu that appears, click (2) 'Event'
- In the Create Events window that appears, populate the 'Event Name' field then select an 'Event Date' 2 years in advance (Avoids visibility in public website), then click [Save] button
- On the Event [Details] tab, ensure the 'Published' option is set to "Yes - Immediately", then click the top right [Save] button
2. Start Video Streaming test
- Turn on video / camera hardware (Start meeting application if in use, e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
- Go to Resolve Admin portal [Events] tab, then search for the Event you previously created in step 1. Click the View/Edit pencil icon next to the listed Event.
- In the Event screen, click the top right [Live Meeting] button
- In the Recording and Streaming window, use the [Set Event Live] button to start streaming and recording
- While the Live Event is active, the [Pause Stream] button (see below) will become available to use if required:
- Pause the Event in Resolve
- Optionally, you can stop the steaming equipment also
- To resume from pause:
- Turn on video and streaming equipment (if stopped)
- Resume in Resolve to make the stream visible again
- Click [End Live Event] to cease Resolve streaming and recording when testing complete
NOTEs:
- During testing, starting streaming from the Event tab in Resolve will confirm correct operation within Resolve
- During an actual meeting, if operated by the Meeting Administrator, the streaming should be enabled/started from the Minutes view Start tab
