Inline Commenting
To be able to use inline Commenting please contact Redman Solution Help Desk to have this switch on.
Once Inline Commenting is turned on by the Redman Solutions Help Desk all users will have access to this functionality.
Commenting is only supported on the Item page within Resolve.
To add a comment, highlight the text you would like to link a comment to.
The Comment box will appear at the top of the text field.
You can tag other users in the system by using the @ symbol and typing their name.
The text will be highlighted to show a comment has been added. You can select the highlighted Text to see the comment.
You have the option to reply to the comment or mark it as resolved. Resolving the comment will remove it from the editor page, however, a copy of all comments is kept on the Comments Tab.
No comments will ever be displayed on the final Report that goes into the Agenda. You do not have to resolve all the comments before finalising the report.
Please note; if the text with a comment is deleted the comment will no longer be visible on the editor page and only available on the comments tab.
