Resolve - Set up Shortcut/App for Resolve on iPad

A short guide on how to set up a Bookmark and Homescreen Shortcut icon, for Councillors to easily launch the Resolve Boardportal from an iPad

CREATE BROWSER BOOKMARK 

Using a browser application on the iPad (e.g. Safari shown below), navigate to the Resolve Boardportal: https://CLIENTNAME.resolve.red/boardview/

You shall now be prompted with a Login screen.

Example:

  • Click the Share Icon
  • Select 'Add Bookmark' option

  • Give the Bookmark a Name and Save

 

CREATE HOMESCREEN SHORTCUT

  • Go to iPad Home screen and find the Shortcuts app icon.  Long Press and select Create Shortcut option.

  • In the Shortcut screen, search for Open Bookmark and select

  • Click the Bookmark Bubble, select the Safari Bookmark you created
  • Select the Open Bookmark name and Rename to an Appropriate app name e.g "Resolve" or "Boardview"

  • Now click the Share Icon and Add to Home Screen
  • Select the Photo option and Choose Photo, Select a Resolve Icon photo which you can download from below.

  • Once Selected, click Add in the top right and the Icon will be Added to the home screen.
  • Clicking on the Icon will Launch the Boardview Portal in Safari
