How to set up Single Sign On for the Councillor Portal

Councillors can sign into the councillor portal using their existing O365 Credentials via EntraID.

To set this up you will need to add the following

  1. Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL) to your Resolve Enterprise Application. https://CLIENTID.resolve.red/BoardView/SAML
    CLIENTID is the start of your environment URL 
  2. Users will need to be added to the Enterprise Application either directly or via group enrollment. 
  3. Once these steps are completed contact Redman Solutions Helpdesk to have SSO for Councillors turned on. 

Once turned on there will be an option to set specific users to not use SSO and use the Resolve Username and password. This can be used for external members that do not have a council Email address.
