Once a meeting agenda has been published to BoardView, any Councillor or Board Member with access to that meeting type can view the agenda Order of Business and related Items. For any Items where a conflict needs to be recorded, see steps below.
1. Login to BoardView portal as per normal and navigate to the required meeting agenda
2. From the agenda Order of Business view, click on the Item where a Conflict is to be registered
3. In the Item header, a green Submit menu will be visible, click to see option and select
4. In the Conflict of Interest window that opens, choose the most appropriate Type of Conflict option from the drop-down. Note, these may differ from the examples shown here, depending on your local definition and terminology.
5. Predefined text, for the Conflict Type, will be inserted in the bottom text box, edit this to insert or describe the reason for the conflict being reported.
6. Click the Submit button to complete registering your conflict.
Once submitted, the Meeting Administrator will see this conflict and can record this directly in the meeting minutes as required.
