# Control Which Meeting Types Appear in the Public Portal

## Choose which Meeting Types are available to the public when filtering meetings in the Resolve Public Portal.

Meeting Types can be marked as **Public** in Resolve. When a Meeting Type is set to Public, it will appear as an available Meeting Type in the Public Portal filter.

##### Before you begin

You will typically need to be a **Site Administrator** with access to **Site Settings** in the Resolve Admin Portal.

#### Update Public visibility for a Meeting Type

From the **User Menu**, select **Site Settings** and open **Meeting Types**.

The Meeting Types configured for your council will be displayed. Meeting Types currently configured for public visibility will be indicated in the list.

Locate the Meeting Type you want to update and click the blue **Edit** pencil icon.

Ensure **Public** is ticked, and then click **Save**.

The Meeting Type will now be available as an option in the **Meeting Type** filter on the Public Portal.
