Resolve - Display Page Setup

The Display page, controlled by the Minute taker during a meeting, is a great option to present current Item Recommendations, Motion and Vote outcome or Speaker details on a large screen in the Council chambers.

Display page templates enable meeting admins to define what is displayed on the Item Display Page during a meeting. 

Your display pages can be accessed via this URL: SITENAME.civicclerk.com.au/boardview/display 

1. To set up a new display template, go to Site settings > Display Pages

2. Select +New Display Page and complete the appropriate fields. 

Display Name: Is the of the template 

Display Text : Is optional and will show text above the default item field. 

Default Item Field : This allows you to select between the Item description field and the alternative text fields. These are the only two text fields that can be display on the template. 

Speaker Display:  Lets you select the behaviour of the speaker display. Always On, Off Or only when Active. 

3. Once set, you will then need to add this template to your Meeting Type/s.

To do this, firstly ensure you have selected UPDATE to save your display page template.

Go to Site Settings > Meeting types and select edit on the meeting type/s you wish to update

At the bottom of the general tab, you can then select the Template you would like to show for the Corresponding Pages.

1. Item Display Template - For displaying the current Item from Minutes

2. Section Display Template - For displaying the current Section

3. Motion Display Template - For displaying the Motions and Votes

 

Once set, your display page will be updated for your next meeting.

Note - based off the image in step 2 - this is how the display page would look for an Item Page. 

 
Please Note: To use the Motion Display page, you must be using the new Motion and Vote feature released in September 2023.
